This product works fantastic. It can be used flat or at an adjustable angle which makes typing on a laptop keyboard a lot more comfortable. It works great in my lap, on a desk or even a bed. The pad has feet that come up that keep the laptop from moving around or sliding off the pad. The fans are very quiet and when I remove the laptop it has kept it cool to the touch. The cord stows away nice and flush on the bottom of the pad. Very nice design.
This is the second Gear Head cooling stand I have purchased. For my netbook I purchased the smaller version of this intended for netbooks (or tablets) and am still loving it. My Godson just got a laptop and I was very happy to find this full size laptop version of the product! I have enjoyed the adjustable stand heights so much I wanted him to have that ability with his cooler also. Having the stand portion in use also helps both products give better air flow cooling your device even more efficiently.
