First the Good :

Extra USB ports are nice and work with my PC with no drivers etc as they should.

The speakers on this really are quite good. I have an Asus G71gx and a G73jh both of which have great speakers for laptops(Dolby certified, subwoofer, and other crazy things semingly impossible in a laptop). The 2.1 system in the Tunefan though is louder than either. Good sound too - no static or background hiss even at full volume. The subwoofer isn't a real sub like on a true home theater of course but it does deliver noticeable bass.

Fan delivers a lot of airflow with very little noise (I don't even notice it is turned on).

However - the bad:

I gave 4 stars as the one I got was advertised for up to 17 inch laptops. It works, but the laptop hangs well over the edges on both sides which makes it slightly awkward. Another 1.5-2.0 inches width would make this 5 stars. Also if you aren't using a 17 inch laptop this should be a 5 star review.

The fan which as mentioned moves a lot of air is configured to blow down. So it is drawing hot air down from the bottom of the laptop. This is fine for laptops or those that do not pull in air from the bottom, but can cancel the effect of the laptops fans if they draw in from the bottom and expel out the back.
