I'm using a MacBook Pro and I decided that I needed a laptop cooler when I intensely use the graphics card. After a while, I can't even rest my palm on the palm rest of my Mac's palm rest area. Since I've used a Zalman Cooler before, I loved it and thought this would be as great and the fan would be as powerful, but it didn't turn out that way. The fan was ultra quiet, as advertised, but it only cooled my laptop a few degrees lower.
If your laptop isn't too hot and you want an ultra quiet cooler for your laptop, it is recommended. However, I would choose to get a more powerful one like the NC3000U or the NC2000.
Pros: Cool looking, very quiet, has a 2.5 HDD compartment
Cons: Very big, Glossy (leaves LOTS of fingerprints), Fan not powerful enough
