I completely took apart my laptop before I discovered this item is only compatible with Athelon processor G6 models. This item has a three-pin connector (Intel processor boxes need a 4-pin connector) and the four fastening holes surrounding the item are not threaded (maybe other G6 models have pegs instead of screws ??)

Anyway, the product was shipped fine and in good condition, but I had to send it back when I found out it was incompatible. If you have an intel processor in your laptop, keep shopping. This isn't your fan.
