I bought the Evercool FIT over the other Evercool air extraction fans simply because it was the most expensive one they thinking it would be the best. I was wrong. I assumed it would have a clamping mech to attach to the laptop. It doesn't. The other, less expensive; Evercool models do have a simple mech with a dial to adjust tightness. The FIT has an adjustable leg that is intended to hold up the unit, but it does not. To get the FIT to work, I have to attach it with tape. When I do that it does help keep the laptop cool, but it's just not an acceptable method to use tape to attach.
