I didn't buy this here online because with shipping it was the same cost as buying this locally. I was a little hesitant to buy this without knowing much about it but it has consistently been keeping my laptop 10 to 15 degrees (Celsius) cooler since I got it. The blue light is a little on the bright side but cover it with electrical tape if you need to. It has an on/off switch which is a bonus instead of just unplugging the power from a USB port. The fan blows air from the underside to the top so this will work good if your laptop draws air from underneath the laptop and blows the hot air to the side or back. Hopefully this will work good for you too. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to a friend.
